Welcome
to Bradworthy Transport Museum The Museum, Ken's dream, is now open - every day throughout the season. The local garage owner said, without any encouragement I might add, "Best Private Collection" and yes, this isn't borrowed, the collection is Ken's, his own special love and realisation of a dream. Come and share his excitement and passion. You may also like to see "Collection" which will feature different vehicles each month. We'll do requests if you email us! Ken's collection comprises some 70 historic vehicles - lorries, vans, cars, motorcycles, tractors, farm equipment and military vehicles dating back to 1914, along with other exhibits and associated memorabilia. The intention was to open at the beginning of the 2006 season but Ken, being Ken, had to get it absolutely right and Autumn 2006 is a more realistic opening time. Ken has already personally shown several hundred people around his prized collection, and shared his experiences as how he came to rescue and give new life to certain vehicles. Enthusiast groups from all over have visited and given their seal of approval to this unique collection. Just to wet your appetite the collection includes numerous rare vehicles including a right hand drive Canadian Chrysler, a 1932 Hillman Minx and a 1948 Fordson 7V tipper lorry. Ken has acquired a 1928 Fiat saloon, a Nuffield tractor, a 1962 350 AJS and a Green Goddess Fire Engine which is being restored to original specification. Ken is a very busy man with a total passion - but to be honest you are very likely to meet him if you visit - and if you do - well you will be inspired!
