From A39 (Bideford/Bude) at Kilkhampton onto B3254 sign-posted “Tamar Lakes”. After approx 0.75 km the road bears right, but take left fork towards Tamar Lakes *.
OR From Redpost - junction of A3072 (Bude/Holsworthy) and B3254 Launceston/Kilkhampton - Take B3254 pass through Launcells & Grimscott towards Kilkhampton. After about 6.5 km when road turns left take sharp right sign-posted Tamar Lakes *.
*From either above following brown signs- continue on this road for approx. 3 km passing through Forda and Thurdon. After Thurdon there is a junction to the left, opposite a white cottage, take this left junction, past Upper Tamar Lake. Go over little bridge at Devon border and you will find Higher Alsworthy Farm and Bradworthy Transport Museum just up the hill on the right about 0.3 km - turn into the free car park - Welcome
